Beacon, NY

Beacon, NY is one of many pretty towns up the Hudson River Valley. I got to visit a professor (who is a great host and even better cook) from my alma mater there last week and took these by a mill-turned-restaurant and an abandoned railroad track.

Greenwich Village and Grand Army Plaza

I pulled these together from a few different days since I haven't uploaded in a while.

Freedom Tower and Skyline

Here are some photos from the Freedom tower and the NYC Skyline, taken from the park under the Brooklyn Bridge.

SantaCon

The Christmas season can mean many things to different people, but you can't have Christmas, especially in New York, without Santa Claus. Lots of Santas...

'Tis the Season

In preparation for the gift-giving season, there's a holiday market set up in Union Square. All kinds of ornaments, clothing, specialty foods, and hot snacks.

Williamsburg, NY

A few shots from a walk I took through Williamsburg.

Home for Thanksgiving

Here are some shots from my neighborhood during my visit home for Thanksgiving. Please forgive the exception to the New York theme!

Goodbye Blue Monday

My good friend Giovanni makes music under the name Duckspeak, and he performed this week at a bar in Bushwick called Goodbye Blue Monday.
